HA Application selection branches in to the four sub-menus:

Login

        Like manipulate cluster, user must login first before using HA Application sub-menus to do something on HA Applications through Web-based Cluster Management Tool. The purpose of Login procedure is to testify the identification of users who will make operations on the cluster and give relevant permissions corresponding to users' authority.

        Typing in your user name and password if the administrators configure them for you. If not, contact the administrator to configure them and set the cluster access authority to you.

Config HA application

        There are five steps to config HA application. Step 1 2 3 4 5.

• Step 1: copy files from Primary node of HA application

        Type the Primary node name of HA Application and click OK button, the mon.cf and haresources files would be copied from primary node to ClusterProbe server.

• Step 2: copy files from Secondary node of HA application

        Type the Secondary node name of HA Application and click OK button, the mon.cf and haresources files would be copied from secondary node to ClusterProbe server.

• Step 3: configure the references of HA Application

HA application name  

    HA application name.

HA application Alias

    Alias of HA application. This information is for configure file: mon.cf.

Node pair name

    Node pair name

primary node name & secondary node name

          Node name of primary and secondary nodes

HA application monitor timestep

        mon monitors this HA application every timestep seconds.

HA application alert timestep

   mon alerts if this HA application is not on every timestep minutes

HA application workday

      From " workday from " to " workday to" , this HA application would be monitored by mon.

HA application workhour  

      From " workhour from " to " workhour to" in workday, this HA application would be monitored by mon.

HA application alert email address  

      If anything emergent happened to this HA application, mon would send alert messages to  this alert email address.

HA application Keyword  

      For mon, this is the keyword of HA application . mon would use this keyword to create monitor script

HA application IP address  

      This IP address is for current HA application. mon would connect them together in configure file: mon.cf.

HA application run command  

      mon uses this run command to create the application start script and alert run script.

• Step 4 and step 5: copy files to HA Primary node and Secondary node

  Copy mon.cf file and other HA application referent files to primary node and secondary node.

   

Monitor HA applications

Selecting this option pops up the Cluster HA applications real-time Stauts panel.

This panel shows you the real-time status of HA applications  in cluster by retrieving cluster status from ClusterProbe and generating the status picture dynamically.

Manipulate HA applications List

Show HA Application list:

At the same time,HA application status panel would be opened.

Add/Delete HA Application

Add/delete HA applications into/from HA application list on ClusterProbe server. ClusterProbe would show the real-time status of  Applications in this list.They are   HA applications managed by cluster.
